Reality

I only have two and a half weeks left of high school. It’s so crazy to believe that I am finally done with high school and I am about to graduate. Reality is about to start and it won’t hit anyone until their first day of college arrives. This summer I am planning on going to California for the whole summer and I cannot wait. I’m going to babysit my little cousins, but also to go explore new things before I go to college. I am planning on seeing everything California has to offer. I want to see the Hollywood sign, I want to spend a night in downtown L.A., I want to go to all the famous beaches, and just have a fun time and we can’t forget the shopping part. It’s going to be so much fun that I don’t want to come back but I have to, unfortunately. This fall I plan to go to the University of North Georgia (Gainesville campus) in the fall and take my core classes there for two years and then transfer out to Athens Tech and get my associates degree in Diagnostic Sonography.

Window Displays

My Favorite fashion window displays would be Victoria's Secret Pink. Their window displays are always so colorful and match the seasons and never disappoint. Like during Fourth of July, They have a window display with different stuff to wear to represent that day. They have everything from bras, to underwear, to bathing suits, and to sweats. What girl’s attention wouldn’t be caught going pass these window displays? Especially when they have a huge sale. I know I wouldn’t pass that up for anything. Sometime you will see 5 for $25 panties. Um, hello! That’s a really good deal instead of paying $10.50 for each. Another cute window display they have is a winter theme. They have their own little boots as well as scarfs and jackets so you will look cute during the winter. They even have their own little bags you can put just about anything in. Who wouldn’t like to see what this store has inside of it?

Girli Girl Boutique

For my project, the company I chose was Girli Girl Boutique. Girli Girl Boutique is a store located in Historic, Buford and it has all the prom and pageant dresses you could think of. They also have tux for the guys. The pageant dresses can be for teenagers and adults as well as little girls in pageants as well. The prom dresses are to die for. Some are a bit pricy but it’s all worth it. When it comes time for prom, girls are always last minute to get their dresses. For the project we had to come up with an event for our customers. I chose to do a sale in the month of March because that’s usually when girls come in to either try on dresses or buy a dress. Girli Girl also sells jewelry and shoes to go perfect with the dress you will end up buying. Don’t be one of those last minute people and wait till a week before prom to get your dress or your tux because they might run out of your size or they won’t have the style that you want. Last year for prom I was one of those last minute girls and that was very stressful for me and my date but that won’t happen this year because I got my dress early and can’t wait to wear it to prom!



WINTER TRENDS

During the winter, there are a bunch of different trends. Some are skinny jeans with a t-shirt and a jacket, combat boots, leggings, big sweaters, scarfs, and recently colored skinny jeans became a fashion trend in the winter and will continue through the spring. One of the most popular, and personally my favorite to wear, would be a pair of leggings, any color or design, with a big comfy sweater with a pair of boots and sometimes with a scarf that matches to complete the whole outfit. A pair of leggings are easy to find at any clothing store. Big sweaters you can find absolutely anywhere. This style was once popular in the 80s so maybe your mom or dad will have really cute big sweaters to compliment the leggings. Also you can go to a thrift store because if you actually look around they have some cute stuff. With boots, you can find them at any fashion store like forever 21, Charlotte Rousse, and other stores like that. They can be expensive, but ever girl needs to own a pair of brown boots. With the scarfs, ou can get anywhere. They are also really cheap and are a very good accessory to wear with these types of outfits.
